Year round schooling can drastically improve a student’s academic performances because of extra time spent in school. In the 8760 hours there are in a year, traditional schools offer only 1110 hours of schooling. This meaning students who attend traditional schools only spend around 13% of their year in school. Year round schooling takes away stress for families who can't find or afford proper child care services during that time. Due to multi-tracking, which is a system in all year round schools which allows students to be in school at different times than others throughout the year, the schedules of year round schooling accommodates an adults working schedule nicely because the vacation times are more spread out and shorter than those of traditional schools. Now, instead of having to pay for a child's child care expenses for two months at a time, parents will need to pay for only one month or less.
