Where is aquaporin and aquaporin 2 present. ADH and vasopressin role in urine formation |
Aquaporin are found on the RBC and aquaporin 2 a presence specifically on the plasma membrane of certain kidney cells. It is essential for reabsorption of water for urine formation. the absence of Aquaporin 2 leads to the medical condition diabetes insipidus. adh and vasopressin regulates the diffusion of water.Adh will increase then water diffusion increases |

What will happen if we keep on increasing the solute concentration during diffusion. How is facilitated diffusion different from normal diffusion. |
Diffusion is unsaturable process so if we keep on increasing the concentration diffusion rate will keep on increasing. since facilitated diffusion occurs through carrier or channel it's graph is similar to enzyme graph.and the speed of facilitated transport depends on the number of substate molecule or iron that can pass through the protein at once.(kyunki jitni enzyme mein space hogi utane hi molecule usse attach Ho ke andar a sakte hain. Ab enzyme mein CT nahin Hai To Log baithenge kaise aur andar aaenge kaise that is why) |

What are the different types of glut and where are they present |
GLUT (glucose Transporter) helps in carrier mediated facilitated diffusion. It is a 12 pass transmembrane protein , nnc terminal present in cytosolic side glut1 = RBC ;transport glu it has highest affinity for glucose as it cannot make their own energy due to absence of mitochondria in mature RBC GLUT2 liver ; glu GLUT3 (3 looks like brain lobes) brain ; glu Glut4 skeletal muscle; glu Glut5 liver ; fruc |
