What is the Alpha Chapter
Today Alpha Chapter is comprised of, not only the Grand Officers but also the other members of the Executive Committee. It is of historical significance to note that Alpha, our first Greek Letter chapter, had an origin and structure which differs significantly from that of many of the Greek letter fraternities. It is considered a true chapter which represents the Fraternity as a whole except when the Grand Council is in session.
What chapter does Province IV Satrap hail from?
Delta Upsilon (Palm Beach Atlantic, West Palm Beach, FL)
What is the significance of Mr. Johnny Porter to Epsilon Mu
Mr. Johnny Porter was at the APhA Annual Meeting and Exposition, 2010 in Washington, D.C. I believe 2 years ago where Karl and Jeremy approached him about starting a chapter in Orlando. Originally, Kappa Psi wouldn’t allow distant learning sites to hold a chapter. Graduate brother Brandon Huang attempted to start our charter and was denied the year before. Mr. Johnny W. Porter helped Karl and Jeremy get in touch with the right people to form our chapter.
What is the meaning of "sign on the dotted line?"
The story dates back to when Alpha class originally pledged to form a chapter. They were told that some chapters in the past were “sign on the dotted line” chapters. This meant that all they had to do to be affiliated with Kappa Psi and that chapter was to sign up. They turned out to be weak chapters that lacked involvement in the Fraternity. History is what bonds other chapters across the nation. If you don’t take the time to learn it you will not share the same bonds of brotherhood. Moral of the story is don’t be a “sign on the dotted line” kind of guy.

What is Asklepios staff?
o The Asklepios staff is a rough-hewn knotty tree limb with a single serpent encircling the staff. It is not to be mistaken for the adopted symbol of medicine the Caduceus of Hermes, which is a short rod entwined by two snakes and topped with a pair of wings.
A specific organization confused the staff with another and adopted the wrong symbol. Name the organization and wrong staff.
The usage is erroneous, popularised largely as a result of the adoption of the caduceus of hermes as its insignia by the US Army medical corps in 1902.
Find out why Asklepios is so important to Kappa Psi. Hint: It’s bling.
Asklepios Key is a special award to be presented by a chapter to its members for outstanding achievements. Although the chapter has always been able to establish its own standards in the selection of recipients for this award, it is recommended primarily for excellence in scholarship
