The Movie “The Shining” was one of the best mysteries horror movies of all time. It’s about a family that stayed over the winter in a hotel in Colorado called “The OverLook Hotel”. A man named Jack wanted to write about staying there over the winter and how it will be a good vacation until things got to him and he went psycho. This film has a lot of allusions in most of the scenes, also towards the middle of the time being there Jack did a lot of violent things to Wendy and Danny. When unusual things happens the Calumet Baking Soda pops up behind someone. In the film “The Shining” there were a lot of allusions. The allusions was when dick was giving them a tour around the kitchen and Dick was asking Danny if he wanted ice cream but Dick was talking about something else to Jack and Wendy. But after Dick said “Me and Danny are going to get ice cream” like it’s a weird scene. Another one was when Jack went in room 237 …show more content…
But then he started to have lack of sleep and started to go crazy abit. A week later he went straight psycho and try to kill Wendy and Danny. He was seconds away to kill Wendy but Dick the chef came and interrupted and Jack killed him so he won’t get in the way. Then he went for Danny because he thought Danny was the one who wasn’t letting him do his work so he had to get rid of him. During this film there were weird sightings from The Calumet baking soda. It also has features with allusion because every time something that has to do with allusions The Calumet baking soda is in the background. Like when Danny was having an allusion about Chef Dick when Dick asked if he wanted ice cream The Calumet was behind him. Also when Jack was going psycho and was locked in food room talking to Mr. Grady The Calumet baking soda was behind Jack so it has to do something with allusions and all the native artifacts in the
