Imagine if you were stuck, working your heart out in hot, cold, and rainy weather under the leadership of a bunch of snotty pigs. Well this is the setting that the barn animals have to deal with in the book, Animal Farm, by George Orwell. But if they had a system to help them, they might have had a better life. The system of checks and balances found in the US constitution would have helped Animal Farm eliminate Napoleon’s abuse of power by deciding if any laws are fair, by enforcing those laws that are fair, and by impeaching any unfair presidents/leaders.
