Currently, there are over 100 million children under the effects of child labor between the ages of 5 and 17 and at least 500 million unemployed adults worldwide. The mention of these new incentives and policies to businesses drives away the profitable aspects of exploiting children and suggests hiring parents instead (“Finding Solutions”). The idea of potentially being able to replace the children in the workplace setting with adults is what will have the most impact on the issue itself, due to the instinctual desire to protect and keep their children out of harm's way, opening doors for these children are then fill their lives with the education and knowledge that will fundamentally shape their future and the future of their country. An unmistakable lack of money and education are two of the most prevalent causes for child labor and they are adimately addressed throughout the steps of this proposal and ultimately would greatly reduce and eradicate child labor (“What Child Labor”). Over the years, more countries have been taking action as child labor increases in relevancy and discussion throughout the world. With consideration for many other previously suggested solutions, all have one thing in common and that is to address and overcome the main causes of child labor. The proposed solution is effective in giving incentives to businesses and giving them well thought out reasons to not use children as their laborers, and ideas on how to replace the workers they will lose with those more fit for the jobs.
