Tools such as Electronic Personal Health Record, Telemedicine, and eLearning work are essential improving patients’ clinical conditions and enhancing the quality of medical care. Some of the most important benefits and advantage of Electronic Medical Record and Electronic Health Records among patients and providers are the quality of healthcare by improving patient care, communication, efficiency, and equity among others, however, there is a difference between Electronic Health Record(HER) and Electronic Medical Record.(EMR). EHR refers to the patient information security it share among organizations and providers. On the other hand, Electronic Medical Record is used by providers for patients diagnosis and treatment but it can not be shared. Undoubtedly, Education can become a barrier affecting the implementation of Healthcare Information Technology, therefore, healthcare provider and a healthcare personnel must receive an adequate training. The size of the practice offices is also an important element that determines HIT adoption so studies reported that largest medical offices are willing to implement Healthcare information technology while small offices present certain limitations due to the higher costs. Finally, issues surrounding the security, appropriateness, and feasibility of HIT represent significant barriers to adoption among physician practice organizations.
