"I feel for you," Prophecy said, "but you can't go."
"Why not?" she asked.
"Tell her," Prophecy said. I glared at her.
"You killed him, you let him die! I had to bring him back!"
"It was his destiny, his fate," she said.
"No, it wasn't. I didn't know who's life I was trading for his when I did it, but it was worth it!" I snapped. The Fate's fox growled at me. "We are going to get out of here, you're going to let us go."
Prophecy sighed, "We really shouldn't have let it go on for this long. You have to pay for what you've done, we're taking you, and the girl you traded for your boyfriend's soul."
I threw up a barrier around Terra, Kenna and I. I stood protectively in front of them. The other two Fates appeared next to Prophecy. They had the same young faces, same black dresses. Their silver, black, and brown hair whipped in the wind. Their animals, the owl, the fox, and the elk standing proudly beside them.
