Even though vision of a National Geographic photographer’s assistant requirements are clear, more information is provided on Bennett navigation and controlling the boats. There are not many photography terms and the book disappointingly does not contain pictures besides the cover photo and a small thumbnail on the back cover. The book could have benefitted by displaying photographs throughout the chapters displaying the bizarre animals, like the pink Pepto Bismol colored dolphins in Brazil, they were trying to catch on film.
