In 2005, 360 billion cigarettes were sold and used only in the United States. The tobacco wastes such as cigarette butts, remands of smoked cigarettes, packing are left over everywhere. It is easily to see a cigarette butt in any playgrounds for kids, which are left from parents. In some unfortunately cases, thousand of kids taken to hospital because they swallow cigarette butts which close to their playgrounds. According to information of International Coastal Cleanup Organization (ICC), 1,7 billion pounds of tobacco wastes accumulate in lake and ocean. In 2009, ICC collected 3,216,991 cigarette butts, 18,555 cigarette lighters, and 36,397 tobacco packages in beaches and islands around the world. This numbers represent only 25 to 38 percent of total tobacco wastes that they predicted has been discharged into the environment.
