In Romeo and Juliet the main characters support love wholeheartedly. When Romeo first sees Juliet he says,”Oh, she doth teach the torches to burn bright! Like a rich jewel in an Ethiope's ear, Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear. As yonder lady o'er her fellows shows.” ( act 1. scene 2. page 5). He was so in love with her at first sight, he let love in and he ended up with her. Juliet wanted love as well. The bible preaches throughout its entirety that love is stronger than hate. Also that love a peace go hand in hand. This is also true in the beloved story of Romeo and Juliet. Juliet says,” I can imagine more than I can say—I have more on my mind than words. Anyone who can count how much he has is poor. Love made Romeo and Juliet have peace while the war between their families raged on. However, Hate is stronger than love because it is the reason for wars. Just like in Romeo and Juliet, how there was a war between the Capulets and Montagues, but in the end love conquered all.
