Favorite Hobby

Having a hobby is an essential thing for everyone. When we are young, our parents try to sign us up for swimming classes, ballet classes or soccer classes. As we grow up, our minds develop and we get interested into science classes and summer camps. Seniors are more interested into honor choirs, art exhibitions and designing classes. For college students, the nature of hobbies changes. Advertising for student unions, committees, political parties and elections are everywhere trying to attract students to share and have their own activities within campus. Having a hobby is not a luxurious option for those who have time and can afford it. It is very important to have interest in a certain sport, art or social committee because

I have flaws and every human does, but makeup helps me embrace those flaws. It doesn't hide it, it just makes it look much more flawless and acceptable . Makeup also makes me feel amazing, it changes my mood, instead of crying I would choose taking out my anger using makeup. Some days when I feel down I would apply the same makeup using different techniques and colors depending on my mood. It could be dark makeup in the shades of black; this usually means that I am feeling sad or angry. If the makeup that I applied is soft and naturally looking, it either means that I'm too lazy to do some work or want to feel simple. It is my hobby that makes me able to carry on with my life. It makes all the pressure seem less …show more content…
It made me realize that everyone is beautiful but in a different way. The art of make-up can make people, especially ladies feel more comfortable about themselves. This confidence is reflected immediately upon one's self, actions and behavior. For me, make-up is a form of medication or meditation because it can contribute to heal the pains of people who are suffering from lack of self-esteem. Whether you have a big nose, bony cheeks, slim lips, acne, scares or skin diseases, make -up can always be applied to make things like that disappear, even if that was only for a while. For me, applying make-up over people's faces is a form of helping others feel better about themselves and develop more e satisfaction and love for their faces. I can spend hours and hours applying make-up on the faces of my relatives, friends or even volunteers. I feel it is better than going out to the movies, partying or going to the beach. I view myself in the future as a make-up artist with millions of followers and drawing smiles on women's

Intellectual theory is based on cognition and learning. The way in which a person learns directly affects his or her development process, and educational/career path. (Capuzzi & Stauffer, 2012). It's important for a counselor to recognize that there is no one-size-fits all approach to learning, and that each student may achieve certain levels of cognition differently. Felder & Brent (2005) note that different backgrounds, strengths, ambitions, and levels of motivation all contribute to different learning styles and their outcomes.…

I have been using makeup since the last couple months that I was in sixth grade. I did not absolutely require makeup, but I figured I’d have to come across it one way or another down the road. I have come to realize that there is not a perfect way to apply makeup, but there is a way to do your makeup to where it fits you and what you desire to look like. First, you want to choose a primer, which gives you a fresh start when applying your makeup, the correct liquid foundation and face powder that matches your skin tone so that it blends well, a powder brush, your choice of blush, any mascara, and lipstick if that is what you like.…

I was finally free. I had more free time, less stress, and had lost the feeling of sweat dripping down my back. Quitting marching band was one of the best decisions I had ever made, and even though I was happy to be free, I had reservations about quitting. In my mind, band was where I would find people I identified with, but in reality, I didn’t find anyone who shared my interests. I longed to find a group that I fit in with.…

I had the great opportunity to interview with a caring, enthusiastic alumna named Kelly Caris. Through my conversation with Ms. Caris, I learned more about Carnegie Mellon University apart from information posted on the Internet and confirmed my decision that CMU is the dream school that I am eager to attend. Located in Pittsburg, Carnegie Mellon University has an amazing campus of historical and artistic sites, for instance the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. CMU also has students from more than fifty countries even though it only has a population of 10,000 students.…

At five years old, dirt clouds that formed when sliding into home plate sparked my passion for baseball. Later, a scholarship to Berkeley for baseball informed my college experience with the dedication required by such a program often reflected in my grades and coursework selections. I have not had a formal math course since high school. Unquestionably, the sport provided amazing experiences all over the world, including Japan for the World Baseball Games and in Texas as a professional player. Throughout the Midwest and Canada, I played baseball often in summer thunderstorms and lived next to a turkey slaughterhouse that employed primarily East African refugees working 24-hour shifts.…

There haven’t been many constants in my life so far, but my love for and almost reliance on sports has been one of the most consistent things that I have come to know. Growing up in a huge, Catholic family of seven children was destined to be a place where athletics thrived; although we never quite had enough kids for even teams. I had an interesting introduction to sports; when I was about one-year old, my parents moved my whole family from our home of Akron, Ohio to Manchester, Vermont, where we lived for six years while my family owned our own popcorn business. In Vermont I was exposed to many extreme sports such as skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling, while still being immersed in the New England and Boston team culture that many Northeasterners are faithful to. When we returned to Akron in 2003, it was one-year…

This is a time for exploration and for everyone to figure out their interest, As i cringe looking back to middle school pictures if my self with purple glasses and horrible acne, i actually thank my skin for being awful and making me insecure all of middle school because it caused me to find one of my biggest interests in life. Makeup, as my peers were playing sports or into the arts i was only interested in watching makeup tutorials and trying to recreate them. I would spend hours just to put on makeup that i would just take off right after my friends thought i was crazy. I started out with just foundation, mascara and eyeliner.…

The quality of the makeup product is immensely important because the product should perform well. Opinions of makeup users all over the world is the way products’ quality is determined. Products that are viewed as good quality products are universally known as good products because of the success the product has produced for thousands of people. The same thing goes for products with bad quality; when a product doesn’t work well for people, it receives unfavorable publicity and therefore is deemed as substandard quality.
