While on the road Chris showed many signs of the trait individualism. 3. One example is in the letter that Chris wrote to Franz “Move around, be nomadic, make each day a new horizon.” (Into the Wild p40). 4. This shows individualism because he wants to move around and make it by himself. 5. Chris also showed kinship with nature, during the time when he lived in Alaska.6.
