Fear is an emotion that can be driven by pain or danger that is probable to occur. Whether or not the threat is imagined or real, some responses of such an emotion may include the increase of one’s heart rate, and muscle tension, sweating, racing thoughts, and a higher sense of alertness. When fear becomes the key emotion [thought and] felt, it stimulates all these reactions [and thoughts] in the human body which is all known as the flight-or-fight response. You can either run from it, or run towards it [and fight against it].

Evidently, if one was to question or rebel against higher authorities -which in this case, if anyone owned any books or a higher source of knowledge- consequences included loss of the interior of one’s home, death, or life in jail. In a dystopian world, Guy Montag, a 30 year old fireman, finds himself unhappy and confused until he stumbles upon Clarisse who is only 17 years old, yet so full of raw intellect. Following the conversations held between Montag and Clarisse, and hearing her philosophies on life and their environment, he soon begins to see the deeper sense of every situation he’s faced with. Slowly but surely changing as a person, Montag begins to question the reasoning behind the ban of anything having to do with books causing him to have a boost of inspiration and desperation “to do something big”. With the fear of unjustly consequences, he turns to his oblivious wife alongside her friends, attempting to gain a sense of relief from his urge for change. When all fails, and almost all his hope has been drained from him, he decides to put all his faith in Professor Faber, a retired English professor from a defunct Liberal Arts college. The fear of not surviving, war breaks out world wide. Theo Faron, a former activist, is kidnapped by the phish terrorist group lead by his ex wife, Julian, in request to get a young refugee named Kee to The Human Project ship, Tomorrow due to a surprising fact that Kee is pregnant. The Human Project was of more significance and goal that way Kee and her baby would be safe, also since The Human Project’s goal was supposively to find the cure for the world wide infertility. Soon after going through the many obstacles to get off the coast of the city, Kee’s baby is born in the room of an abandoned apartment building, causing more of an urgency to get the the Tomorrow ship. Attempting the get there quick, Theo is shot by fellow Phish member, but successfully gets Kee to the coast to wait for the ship where Kee advises him she’ll name the baby after the child him and Julian had lost. “Dylan can be a girl’s name too.” Theo dies before the Tomorrow ship can arrive. Many years after, during the ending credits, the sounds of children’s laughter arise, allowing us to assume the cure for human infertility was founded. Theo was able to successfully help the people of the world restore it’s sanity and eliminate it’s fear of human extinction with just a push of motivation by Julian and the dedication for change, also the hope
