This study follows the quantitative approaches of research. The purpose of the study that "District-Level Administrators' Perspectives on the Implementation of Functional Behavior Assessment in Schools" was to examine the procedure of FBA applies across and within school areas, from the viewpoint of the district level personnel. The issues of the research was addressed the perspectives of administrators on the applying the Functional Behavior Assessment in schools. Likewise, certain behaviors that most likely be addressed by FBA, the type and usefulness of FBA procedures most frequently used, and individuals involved in the FPA process. The method of this research is survey. The sample of this study was special education district-level administrators (i.e., special education directors or supervisors) in all school districts in Florida and South Carolina. The sample consisted of 75 school region directors/supervisors who submitted the survey form. They were 39 (52%) from Florida and 36 (48%) were from South Carolina. 47(62.7%) of the participants reported that they are from a rural area, 15 (20%) from an urban area, and 11 (14.7%) from a suburban area; 2 (2.7%) did not provide this information.

The procedure of the research, the survey, included 16 items two pages which are about "Functional Behavioral Assessment and Behavioral Intervention Plans for Secondary Students." The survey contained two sections. The first one was measured "Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP)." It consisted of 13 items gathering data about: the most problem of behaviors were common, most possible actions for that behavior, certain behaviors lead to conduct FBA, the degree of certain problem behaviors may result in the beginning of FBA, the rate of conducting FBA, most valuable of FBA techniques for a list of problem behaviors, identification of problem behaviors for which FBA
