Everyone remembers the teacher who gave a large amount of homework over the course of a school year which would leave children stressed and worn out. However, when he or she said two outstanding words “group work” the student would be ecstatic because they have less work on themselves, it works on their skills for later in life, and they have a chance to be heard and not get bullied for their input. I agree with group work in the classroom because of how it helps many students overcome numerous difficult situations in their life. Group work causes students to work with people that they would not necessarily work with because they are not in their group of friends. Resulting in children becoming friends with people out of their comfort zone or people that would normally bully them. The bullies can also learn that the victims of their bullying are human and have as much feeling as them. Furthermore, the student can realize all of the things they have in common with another person or that they are interested in another person’s talents which can result in a friendship beginning. If a friendship is created the students that would usually bully each other will come together as friends instead of enemies.
