Ms.Wilson Growing up in Trenton, New Jersey, a predominantly black community where violence is promoted towards one another. As you live, you get used to talking a certain way while you adapt to the lifestyle of people you think are your Idols. Believe it or not, this is the way you live, this is the way you perceive things. Imagine one day your biological mother sends you away to your father who you don’t get along with and barely know. He happens to have a little purpose to the community and lives in a neighborhood where you see white people jogging and there's kids looking at you different because you're black. I was that little boy that loved money so when I got a lot of money I would count it over and over again. These actions later rubbed off on me academically especially mentally. I would always test high and be quick to raise my hand when teachers ask a question to the class. As my life went on I decided I wanted money constantly coming in which led to me wanting to become a businessman. Teachers noticed this, our school district sooner or later launched a math competition also known as the “Math Bowl”. All of the teachers begged me to join so I could finally gain some recognition. They were asking me questions left and right and I was hitting the answer button while getting every answer right. Finally, we were at the end and the superintendent asked the last question to be the Math Bowl Champion, Everybody sat in the audience quiet as the dark as the superintendent asked “What's the square root of 0.” The competitor didn’t know, he was clueless. He tried to answer the question but “AANNNNN” he was wrong. They passed the question to me and I finally remembered it was 1. I locked my answer in, and it came out to be right! My mom went crazy while the audience clapped slowly. Immediately I felt intellectual superiority because I was basically the smartest math person in the district. This was one of the best days of my life, I will always remember this day because every time I feel down I just think of that
