I had to hurry out of bed, so I jumped out from underneath the sheets and ran to the closet, frantically searching for my sweater. After looking for ten minutes, I could feel my blood boiling; I started ripping clothes out of drawers, throwing clothes off their hangers, and dumping my hampers.
After fifteen minutes of no luck, I quit searching and tried to find my favorite pair of brown sandals, but they were nowhere to be found. I searched the closet again through the piles of scattered clothing and stumbled through the house searching in all the usual …show more content…
“What kind of person loses this many things in one morning? What is wrong with you?”
I finally decided to wear a different pair of shoes right when I looked up to see those brown sandals right in front of me. They were right beside the bed the entire time. I slipped on denim capris, that were slightly faded from being worn throughout the years, along with my sandals and raced towards the kitchen to fix myself something warm to eat.
I ran through the living room with only one shoe on and hopped on one foot around the corner to the coffee pot. The moment I reached the coffee pot, after tripping at least ten times, it occurred to me that I had seen something out of place on the couch. I circled back to the living room and there was my neatly folded sweater lying on the couch from folding laundry the day before. I don’t know how I had been so flustered that I hadn’t seen it lying there, but it was there, almost laughing at
