Every day, approximately 105 Americans die by suicide. There is one death by suicide in the US every 12 minutes. ("Save. Suicide Awareness Voices of Education." SAVE. N.p., n.d. Web. 05 Apr. 2016.) When you commit suicide it for your own self, you don't have to deal with the grief and sorrow of losing something. All is well and fine because you are dead. You are nothing, you have no feelings, no thoughts, no sense, you're gone and never to return, there's nothing, absolutely nothing left to worry about while the people you love are drowning in grief. Suicide is not heroic or a big step to make, it is quite possibly the easiest thing to do when your antagonized with sadness, it's selfish.
In Romeo and Juliet they both commit suicide, most audiences think that they did this action out of love. But really they were just being selfish. “Then I’ll be brief. O happy dagger! This is thy sheath; there rust, and let me die.” These are Juliet's last words before she commits suicide. She commits the act after finding Romeo dead, by suicide. She commits this act because she is to weak and selfish to spend her life without Romeo. Yes, this may show love and devotion to Romeo from Juliet, but it mostly shows how weak she was. She gave

After the Capulets, Montagues and the Prince found them dead in the tomb, the Prince says this. “A glooming peace this morning with it brings. The sun for sorrow will not show its head....For never was a story of more woe than this of Romeo and Juliet.” This shows sadness and grief among the other characters. It represents that it's just as hard for family to lose family as it is for lover to lose lover, bottom line is that they both lost someone.
