Lower Normandy is a very impressive and interesting place while not being hardly larger than the State of Connecticut. It is the site of many game changing and devastating historical events. Lower Normandy also has a beautiful landscape and beaches.. Lower Normandy also has its own fair share of indigenous cuisine only found in the area. There are also three different regions in Lower Normandy, Calvados, Manche, and Orne.
The first of the regions, is called Calvados. Calvados is recognized for its green meadows, orchards of apple trees, cliffs, sandy beaches, and hedged farmland.
