SIT HERE LIKE A COWARD AND WATCH MY FRIENDS DIE! THE DIAMOND ROSES ARE not GOING TO STOP! SOMEONE HAS TO HELP” Eren balled his fists as he yells even louder than his mom. As Eren and Raven dashed into Ritwell, in the distance they heard a conversation. “You stupid kid, you shouldn't have done that.” Eren knew that voice like the back of his hand, Jean Gladden, the leader of the Diamond Roses. “ You resort to violence because your brain is the size of a walnut. So go ahead hit me, I’ve already won.” Eren and Raven ran around to see a small kid, around their age, he had big blue eyes that are streaming with tears and long slicked back blonde hair. Jean has a small dagger held to his neck. The pale boy looks at Eren then behind him. “ EREN HITZIG,RAVEN MCLAUGHLIN, FLINT FUJIOKA!” Daniel, a Loyalist, yells. Jean Gladden drops Flint and runs. The soldier's salute Eren by putting their fist on their heart. “ General, I’m not sure I’m putout to lead. It’s not my style and I’m afraid I’ll let everyone down.” Eren says with his head down. He never thought that he would lead his own mission. His mother thought his was a great leader, but she’s gone now. “Eren Hitzig, I don’t think you’re a good leader because you're strong, I think you’re a good leader because you know what’s it’s like to be weak. You’re one of us Eren. You’re scared out of your mind like the rest of us. It makes you alert, sympathetic. If you don’t believe that you can do this, I’ll let Raven lead it.” The General spoke with strong words. Eren goes to leave the room as the General says one last thing. “ Eren, remember, No matter what kind of wisdom dictates you the option you should pick, no one will be able to tell if it’s right or wrong till you arrive at some sort of outcome, resulting from your choice. The only thing we are allowed to do is believe we won’t regret the choice we made.” Kirstein says then walks out of the eating

This disunion between the two mattered because many Loyalists experienced hardships, such as being shunned and losing ownership of their own property.
