Lucas is the main character in the story and his uncle wanted him to play football but he was scared too because he didn't want to get hurt then something bad happens. Anyway he thought his mom and dad would tell him no. So he told his uncle he will think about it and see what he will do. So he went and asked his mom and dad if he wanted to play football if they would let him play. His parents thought about it and said no. so he went to his uncle and said his parents said no. his uncle tried to get him to want to and it worked. He said all he has to do now is get mom and dad say yes. His mom and dad don't want him to play football but his uncle convinced him to let play.
