Opening up with the fatal accident of a Navy driver at a local New Orleans race track, the team looks at the possibilities of it being an accident. WHile the witnesses aren’t talking, the victim showed wounds from previous injuries. Dying on impact, the stab wound found by Dr. Loretta Wade showed an injury that needed medical attention but was treated without medical help. When the team found a duffel bag of cash in the victim’s garage, more questions emerged as the red dye suggested it was from a bank heist.

A high speed chase ensues with the remaining robbers with LaSalle catching up and finally arresting the remaining members of the racing robbers. Thankfully the Federal Reserve never lost a dime!
Showing the interactions of the office, Agent LaSalle’s big fatherhood surprise got another twist as he found out he wasn’t really the father’s child. A bit relieved and sad, the character finds himself struggling with how to deal with the zealous father who allegedly has abuse the child and his mother. Looking to make a positive change, he does the right thing and appears to have a chance to give the mother and child a new life and sends them on their way.
Overall the episode of “NCIS: New Orleans” was full of action and quick paced. However, the story around Agent Gregorio and her decision to stay (or go) has become slow. Her motives seem self serving and even if she does stay, viewers have to wonder if she can put her lifelong dream of catching a criminal behind her. Episode grade:
