Echo would blame herself for trying too hard to love Narcissus, she basically stalked him. She could've blamed herself for him running away in the first place. Also, because she was head over heals for this guy, that just fell in love with his own reflection and died. For example the last paragraph in the text it states, “ Echo and the other nymphs were avenged, yet they looked on the beautiful dead Narcissus, they were filled with sorrow, and when they filled the air with their lamentations, most piteously did the voice of Echo repeat each mournful cry.” This also states that Narcissus’ death effected in a powerful way.

If I was Psyche I would be very depressed at the beginning of my marriage. I would also be depressed because after Aphrodite had played with my heart by making me do crazy tasks for the fake love of her son. But, after me dying and my true love reviving me I would be happy. In a way I would also be satisfied with the fact that I just risen from the dead and my husband loved me enough to save me in the first place. In the second to last paragraph it explains how Eros lover Psyche so much that he pleaded to Zeus to make her immortal, and so Zeus did because of that eternal love.
Literary Analysis: After reading Orpheus, what do think the author wants you to know about jealousy?
Well after reading, jealousy is something that the author doesn’t like. My personal opinion is that I don’t like to be jealous that much but, it come easy for me.
