In the original brothers grimm version of rapunzel i talked of the irony in rapunzel's name because she was named after the herb rampion her father traded her for. The dramatization and exaggeration of the piece stuck out to me in the majority of the prince's actions and rapunzel's beginning. The fact rapunzel had blonde hair and was extremely naive seemed to correlate in my mind and the length difference between the original brothers grimm and tangled was very significant. It seemed to correlate with her helplessness based off the fact rapunzel in tangled used her hair to get out on her own but the original rapunzel was trapped by it.
