Racism Argumentative Essay

To some, racism is a way of life, and to others, it is a repulsive term that represents closed-mindedness and also clarity. Racism can come from different types of cultural values, ethnic backgrounds, and physical appearances. The conflict of racism is that in this generation should change that to give everyone a perceptive of how we are not all different from skin to even human because people get judged such a way, also get bullied in school. The first area of how African American are judged and mistreated is getting called harsh names , like telling an African-American that he was accused of raping a women, In “ Killing a mockingbird” when a man named Tom was accused of raping a white women that he didn’t do, but the court disagreed because they were white Americans” . Just like in the 1800 and 1900’s racism was a great deal. African Americans were made to be like they were not equal to whites and were treated very harshly. All though racism is one of the core reasons for kids dropping out of schools.Being discriminated and fighting, Kids start hating school and just don't do their work. In our society today being a black male or female and going somewhere at the wrong time you could end up with going to jail, because “Blacks” are put into a category of stealing, killing, raping, drugs, etc. Sometimes, it doesn't cross as racist to people, like putting Hispanics into a category that they're always from Mexico because most Hispanics are. As much as we want to control over this topic, racism is still a big problem today.
