Single stories never tell the full truth of the person, just one side of it, and most of the time, it isn’t truth at all. Although we have them because we’re ignorant and can’t help ourselves, it can still be damaging to a person’s image. People tell me about the many single stories that they have of me; the most common being one is that because I’m skinny, I don’t eat a lot.
Everyone always tells me that, “I’m too skinny”. This happens too many times to count, with everybody. People always assume that I eat very little or not at all because I’m so skinny. I always tell them that even though I look like I don’t eat a lot, I do, they always look at me with a weird face and tell me “well you should eat more”. I always get confused because I
