Some interesting facts about Fall Of Five is that the author, Pittacus Lore is that it’s a pen name for the 2 of the original authors that wrote the book …show more content…
The 9 aliens have to have trust to move around and talk to people since they could be Mogadorians in disguise, this theme of trust is important because the amount of trust they put into the other number shows since they trust each other with their lives in each other’s hands. The major conflict in The Fall Of Five is that the Mogadorians are hunting for The Chosen Gardes since they’re the only ones that can defeat them and save Lorien from dying. They have to defeat the Mogadorians with only 9 gardes, two humans and one unexpected ally seeking revenge, it will take hope and faith to defeat the Mogadorians, who have the government’s help in finding them since they tricked the government into thinking they’re good and the Gardes are the one’s with a evil agenda. The story takes place in many places, they live in Nine’s old penthouse in New York serving as their base, Sam, Number 4’s best friend travels to New Mexico, Texas, and New York to find them. They also travel to India to find Number Eight and to a convent in Spain where they found Marina or Number …show more content…
I like the author’s writing style because it’s complex, but simple. I also like how the author’s pen name is a Lorien Elder in the story which I find clever because it makes me wonder if he’s alive because on every book jacket for the Author’s Bio, it says “Pittacus Lore is Lorien's ruling Elder. He had been on Earth preparing for the war that will decide Earth's fate. His whereabouts are unknown.” What I don’t like is the suspense at the end of the book, I like the suspense, but I always try to guess who dies or what happens, it makes my mind races with possibility. In conclusion, The Fall Of Five would be excellent book to read if you like a book that keeps you on your toes and makes you guess after each book like who does he kill, will she live or will it end happily for them. I know this series kept me on my toes after each book and made me think about what would happen and the possibilities of what the next book will show us after the last

The figurative language deepens the book, and the style and craft drags the reader farther into it. The central idea of the book is well chose and described. The only thing that could have been improved is the figurative language. There is so much figurative language at certain parts that many readers do not may have trouble understanding it. Even with the confusing parts this book deserves a four out of five stars, because it is intriguing, but still has flaws.…

I first picked up Highly Illogical Behavior at the recommendation of Mrs. Bock. I had never read a book with a protagonist who had a mental illness that was present in the behavior and the overall plot proceedings throughout the novel. I usually tend to stay within the genres that I am familiar with - romance and realistic fiction. Most of the books that I read are about how a man and a woman fall in love in spite of emotional and physical strife. Highly Illogical Behavior, however, was about a man who had such severe social anxiety that he developed agoraphobia, thus rendering him incapable of leaving his house.…
