Wicca is a tradition that takes place in Europe before Christianity and can be linked back to worshiped of Hunter God, and a Fertility Goddess of the Paleolithic people. The religion can be traced back to 30,000 years and predate Christianly by 28,000 years. A sculpture was found of a Goddess or Great mother, and her consort stating that this religion was a matriarchal and free of male domination. The goddess is one of the earliest deity from the Stone Ages in Europe.
Wicca is a spiritual belief of understanding nature ,and the reason for all living beings. They believe in a One or All single power that is a part of everything that has been created. A group of Wiccans are called a Coven and are led by a Priestess who represents the mother goddess.

It is the new years of the Celtic year. The veil of the realm of the living and dead is thin during the night time. Witches dressed up in costume in a way to embody the souls of the dead and to visit their family and descendant.
Winter Solstice take place on December 21. This day is the shortest day of the year because of the sun at its lowest point. This came about because of the death of a Sun king and birth of the Divine Child or Horned God. Witches decorate a evergreen tree with lights and candles. Holly is used as a view on Holly God or Horned God which rules this season.
Imbolc or Imbolg is the celebration during the first of February. Imbolc in Celtic words means washing oneself. This day is a celebration of the awakening Maiden aspect of The Goddess. This holiday is the beginning of a new thing in life which is celebrated by special bread and candied fruit. The symbol of this day is a Bonfire or a lighter Solar wheel. During this Holiday Faeries and elves are everywhere during the night. The herbs that are gathered during this event is supposed to be the strongest.
Lughnasadh is a holy day that takes place on August 1. It is a celebration of the Celtic God Lugh marriage to the Earth Mother. It was a time to gather as many herbs that are left and leave the ripe ones to seed for next year. In Ireland during the ancient time, it was a celebrated by a festival and had a feast with games. There are different elements associated with different things in the Wicca Religion. There are five Elements which are Spirit, water, fire, air, and Earth. These elements are used in ritual for circle work or many other things that representation of the elements. They are part of daily life and very important in Wiccan practice. To learn to connect to these elements, Witches must explore each induvial element and spend a much time with each one of them. They must embrace the weather of each element and notice how they feel to them. Some witches play a game if they can control the element to understand how it works.
