The story Trashy Town involves a trash man named Mr. Gilly who goes around a Trashy Town to pick up Trash. The story shows how Mr. Gilly proudly visit different places Mr. Gilly such as a school, park, fire station and other places to collect the trash. After Mr. Gilly picks up the trash, he states a rhyme. The story does not only involve Mr. Gilly picking up trash in a town, but also two little mice that accompany him throughout the story. Mr. Gilly is extremely persistent in the story to leave trashy town a clean town.
