First and foremost English Composition was by far my favorite class, it renewed my love for writing, and I learned quite a lot. I always knew I had the “bones” to be a great writer, but with lessons like how to write a literacy narrative, learning the process of brainstorming, and peer review I was able to put the “meat” on bones. It was reoccurring pattern for me to read as much material that was provide before I even begun the assignment. This applied to me as a reader and writer. I believe that was what contributed to a lot of my success in this class. Overall, I think I did fairly well with every assignment, but I will admit that I cannot accept all the credit, I had superb classmates and an instructor who’s passion for teaching inspired me to the best student I could possibly be. What should I do next, you may ask? I will continue on this journey, and take everything I learned and apply it to education and my life.
While both Pappas and Bloom’s Taxonomy of Learning to focus on reflection are both great in merit, I did choose Pappas for my reflection. Pappas’s Taxonomy of Learning applies to me in more on a personal level of simplicity and directedness. I could apply both methods, but my process of thinking and analyzing seem to fit perfectly with
