When I Grow Up Research Paper

“ What do you want to become when you grow up” was how every discussion began when a new school year started. Each time I only had one answer: midwife. I didn’t know how I was going to become one, but I knew someday I would. From the time I was in middle school to the time I graduated from High school, there were many challenges, but there were always solutions. Growing up, I had to establish my way of thinking differently than other kids because I didn't come from an economically built home. Even then, I knew that giving up wasn't an option and I have to work harder to become the person I wish to be.
When I entered sixth grade, I was very quiet and shy since I came didn't know anyone. I sat in the last row and did my work without disturbing others. As I attended school daily, I started meeting many nice people and making great friends. Then high school rolled in, and it was just something out of a movie. Freshman year, I was just adjusting but as years went by, I became more sophisticated and got the title of the valedictorian.

I continued my career of becoming a midwife, and before I got a real job I was volunteering at hospitals and getting more educated from great doctors that worked around. Several years later I moved to Dubai with my husband and two kids and lived in a mansion working full

Moving schools away from all of my friends should’ve been an appalling experience, surprisingly, it was a blessing in disguise. I went to Agnes Baptist Elementary from kindergarten to 5th grade and I had friends that I've known since I was 3. I loved it there and knew the school like the back of my hand. Everything was superior, like most good things, though there were times where they weren’t, I was harassed by a bully almost everyday, my grades were getting inadequate, and my mom didn’t want me to be a sad, disconsolate 7th grader at a new junior high. In the result, I moved and I went to Savage Middle School, a school that had 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.…
