"I quit," Sammy says as he takes up for three young girls. I believe that the actions Sammy took made him a heroic character. Three reasons on why I believe that Sammy was a heroic character is because he quits his jobs to sand up for the girls, defends the girls, and becomes a complex character. First of all, Sammy is a heroic character because he quits his job to stand up for the girls. Lengel says, "Sammy, you don't want to do this to you're Mom and Dad." This shows that even though he could have consequences at home, he still stood with his crucial decision. Second of all, Sammy is a heroic character because he defends the girls to his boss. Sammy says to Lengel, "You didn't have to embarrass them." Which shows that he
