Why does Camus think life is meaningless? And what does it mean in the Absurd? What does the Myth Sisyphus relate to meaning of life issues? Do you agree that life is meaningless?
Response:
I believe why Albert thought that life is meaningless is because he sole believe that everyone will one day be dead someday so why seeing life meaningful when we will eventually be dead. Example was when he made the statement “I think my life is of great importance, but I also think it is meaningless.”
Therefore, according to the absurdity theory, Camus said that it is very important that we do not die of our own free will just because of our embracing the absurdity which leads us to take all of life and give what we have, which is “Suicide.’’
