It was the changing room. Here, the people undressed and handed their clotehs to slave attendants who placed them in recesses arranged along the walls in rows.

Describe the caldarium
At one end, there was a large, rectangualr shaped bath that stretched across the full width of the room and was filled with hot water in which one sat or wallowed.
How were the Roman's cleaned while in the caldarium
After soaking in the bath, s slave is summoned to run olive oil from a little pot onto the body. The person lies on a marble slab while oil is worked into the skin and then dirt is removed with a scraper.
