Culture

Tylor (1971)- that complex whole which includes knowledge, art, law, morals, custom, and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society.


Linton (1945) - the way of life of a society's members ; the way they learn, share and transmit from generation to generation.

Material culture

The part that is concrete and tangible that a society creates and uses for survival
