Niobe had many tears as she asked for the life of her last daughter.
“Relinque unam minimamque,” clamat.
“Leave behind the littlest one,” she shouts.
Sed Diana ultimam filiam quoque sagitta necat.
But Diana also kills the last daughter with an arrow.
Dum Niobe lacrimat,in statuam congelat; etiam nunc lacrimae manant.
While Niobe weeps, she congeals into a statue; even now her tears flow.
