The House has 435 members from the various states. |

The house pases bills it hopes will become laws. The House has the sole power of impeachment against any federal officer. The house also has the important duty of selecting a president if no candidate has a majority in the electoral college. |

What does the clause actually do? |
It makes the constitution a living document, giving, Congress powers that are “necessary and proper” to run the government. |
