If wings are folded and the pilot wants to do IBITS, move flaps or control surfaces, what should you check and do?
Make sure wings are spread and to tell the pilot the same.
Do you need to have pins out when manually folding wings?
No you do not.
When folding wings what should be done prior?
Take out wing pins, push in wingfold breakers, and make sure wing fold switch is in the correct position so flight surfaces do not injure anyone.
What is your main reason and purpose in being a Plane Captain?

When crossbleeding an engine what do you need to make sure is done?
That no one walks behind aircraft since to bleed air from one engine to another requires 80% power to accomplish this.
If an aircraft is going to go up more than 80% on power where does that aircraft need to go?
High Power area
At high power where does the aircraft get its ground?
When installing the holdback chain to the holdback mechanism, the chain is the ground.
When using your static discharge kit(happy hand/ stick) what should you do first?
Ground aircraft with grounding cable.
Once you have grounded the aircraft where would you plug the static discharge kit into?
Either another grounding point but since DR 8 has a grounding point this is the easiest and fastest point.
How many fuse plugs are each main landing gear wheel/ tire installed with?
3 fuse plugs per main landing gear wheel/tire
What temperature are fuse plugs supposed to melt at?
400 degrees F
Do the fuse plugs always melt?
One at a minimum are supposed to melt but they are not always reliable as per 00-80R-14

When passing underneath the aircraft where should you steer clear from?
The tailhook, large flight controls, pylons with stores hanging and if the APU is turning, away from that too.
After IBITs the horizontal stabilators are asymetrical. What should you do?
Signal to pilot one hands connected at thumbs with one hand up and one hand down. The pilot will probably set trim again and try to adjust.
If there is anything that seems problematic and you are unsure, what should you do and who should you call?
Tell the pilot to hold. Call for the shooters, Flight Deck Co-ordinator, or QA if possible.
AT night the final checkers have passed back to the aft of the landing gear, what should you tell the pilot to test?
Tell the pilot to check his taxi light.
You check your tools before final taxi and after taxiing you check tools and one is missing, what should you be doing?
Check for that tool and run to the FDC and tell him you are missing a tool so they can hold that aircraft just in case.
On each main landing gear shock absorber there is a data plate for the 'X' dimension measurements. Should you use it?
You should never use that plate. The jet may be 2 days new but the daily deck might have info that came out right after. Use your daily deck for info. It gets updated more often.
When you are fueling an ARS drop tank what do you do differently.
Hold down the EXT PRE-CHEC switch instead. There is no pressure relief check valve on ARS'.
When hot fueling what should you make sure you have and do?
Have your minimum personnel requirements and safety steps in play as per 00-80T-109, your fueling NATOPS.
What has to be straight when hot fueling?
The pentograph(the extended pipe that the hose is part of) has to be straight so in case of a fire and the pilot has to break away then he can safely instead of getting binded up.
How far should you be from jets turning when fueling?
