Functions not known. Thought to be concerned with the production of antibodies |

Adrenal glands |
Secretion of these glands magnifies when we become angry or experience fear. This increase in output raises the blood pressure in order to counter act the shock. |

Ovaries |
Internal female organs of reproduction. At each menstrual cycle, one of the ova develops into a Graafian Follicle, which ripens, and eventually ruptures, causing the ovum (singular of ova) to escape in the uterine tube. |

Testes |
Male organs of reproduction. Where sperm is formed. Testosterone is produced here. The secretion of testosterone increases at puberty and is responsible for the development of masculine characteristics; such as, facial hair, deepening of the voice, etc. |
