Contact- caution in MRSA and VRE pts Droplet- caution B. Pertussis, flu, adenovirus, rhinovirus, N. Meningitides, group A strep(for 1st 24 hr therapy) Airborne- rubella (measles), varicella, M. Tuberculosis Catheter associated- replace peripheral catheter q2-3days. Try avoid intravascular catheters for intravenous or oral route |
