Boney structure of the Orbit |

Lacrimal Gland |
In the superolateral Orbit. Just behind the orbital Margin. Tears are produced hear and stream across the surface of the eye. |

At the medial Junction of the upper and lower eyelids, tears train into the papilla and are carried through the Lacrimal canaliculi to the lacrimal sac. |

Origin- Common tendinous Ring Insertion- Broad app. into upper eyelid. Innervation- Superior Division of CNIII Function- Voluntary elevator of the upper eyelid. |

Arises from Levator Palpebrae Superioris. Innervation- Symps. from ICA Function- Involuntary of Upper eyelid. |

Horners Syndrome |
Interruption of Sympathetics to the eye results in ptosis( drop of eyelid), miosis(Pupil constriction), an hydrosis ( Loss of sweating), and flushing of the face. |

Trace the H. In right eye. Abduct. Look up to test Superior Rectus. Look down to test inferior Rectus. Adduct. Look up to test inferior oblique and look down to test inferior oblique. |
