What is the definition of Current?
Current is the Amount of Charge passing a point each second.
Measured in Amps
What is Charge Measured in?
Coulombs
Charge = (Q)
What is the formula for power?
Power = Energy / Time
Measured in Watts
Explain why Resistivity is measured in Ohm-Meters
The forumla for resistivity is P=RA/L. R is measured in Ohms and A is measured in Meters squared. L is measured in Meters. So, Because you have (Ohms x meters sq) / (meters), the meters on the bottom cancel out the meters squared on top to leave meters and ohms. therefore resitivity is measured in ohm meters.
2 bulbs are in a series circuit. 2 are in parallel. The P.d provided by the battery is the same in both circuits, What will each of the bulbs look like?
Series : Lights will get dimmer
Parallel: Lights will be of equal brightness.
