Capgras Delusion

A delusion of doubles- that oneself or a friend has been replaced by an exact clone, who is an impostor.
Cause: psychosis, head injury, vitamin B12 deficiency, pituitary or right occipitotemporal lesion, multiple sclerosis. |

Nihilistic delusions.
A rare disorder in which people hold a delusional belief that they are dead (either figuratively or literally), do not exist, are putrefying, or have lost their blood or internal organs. In rare instances, it can include delusions of immortality. Cause: psychoses such as schizophrenia. Delusional Parasitosis
Victims acquire a strong delusional belief that they are infested with parasites, whereas in reality no such parasites are present. Very often the imaginary parasites are reported as being "bugs" or insects crawling on or under the skin; in these cases the experience of the sensation known as formication may provide the basis for this belief. Primary- the delusions comprise the entire disease entity, somatic type delusional disorder Secondary Functional- when the delusions are associated with a psychiatric condition such as schizophrenia or clinical depression Secondary Organic- hypothyroidism, cancer, cerebrovascular disease, tuberculosis, neurological disorders, vitamin B12 deficiency, and diabetes mellitus |

the delusion of doubles- is a rare disorder in which a person holds a delusional belief that different people are in fact a single person who changes appearance or is in disguise. Often of a paranoid nature, with the delusional person believing themselves persecuted by the person they believe is in disguise.
