-SiO2@ON/glass was coated with poly(methyl methacrylate) (950 PMMA C4, Micro Chem, 2 mL) by spin coating (500 rpm for 5 s, 1,000 rpm for 5 s, 2,000 rpm for 5 s, 1,000 rpm for 5 s, SP-7200GT spin coater, Intec systems). The plate was cut into 4 pieces of 1.5 × 2.5 cm2 area (Refer to Figure S3), and then added to 5% HF solution (100 mL). In the first 1 min, the glass plate was detached from S-SiO2@ON/glass and removed. The S-SiO2@ON was further etched for 2 h. Caution: HF solution is extremely dangerous to be inhaled and touch. Thus, it should be handled with extreme caution and specific gloves in a good hood. Before using the HF solution, please read the MSDS sheets. The PMMA-MONF obtained by etching was washed with water. The PMMA in PMMA-MONF was removed by adding to acetone (150 mL) three times. The resulting MONF (1.5 × 2.5 cm2) was transferred to a 1:1 mixture of ethanol and water (100 mL). PET film was washed in MeOH by sonication for 30 min. The MONF was carefully loaded to the PET, and the MONF/PET was dried at room temperature for 24 h. Synthesis of Cu/MONF/PET and Cu/PET SnCl2 stock solution was prepared by adding water to a mixture of SnCl2 (3.4 g, 18 mmol), distilled water (200 mL), and 37% HCl solution (20 mL) to form 1.0 L solution. PdCl2 stock solution was prepared by adding water to a mixture of PdCl2 (0.10 g, 0.56 mmol), distilled water (200 mL), and 37% HCl solution (20 mL) to form 1.0 L solution. Both the stock solutions were sonicated to form clear…

Essay On TG And DTA Curves

    • 1360 Words
    • 6 Pages

The TG and DTA curves obtained for the compounds (C1-C5) are shown in Figure 9. Table 4 lists the results of the thermal studies of these compounds with the initial and final temperatures (ºC), assignments of each decomposition stage based on mass calculation and DTA peaks. These assignments (Δm - Calcd.) are based on the structural fragments from the theoretical formulae of the compounds (C1–C5). This implies that the groups proposed in the right column of Table 4 are not necessarily the…
