Coed school allowing the opposites sex to to take part in school. Thus introducing Hachimitsu Private Academy, which was revered as an elite all girls’ boarding school. Until they decided to have guys take part in this feminine wonderland. Thus we get introduced to our Main Character, Kiyoshi Fujino, and 4 other guys I can’t be bothered to mention. Eventually they guys are in for a rude awakening once they begin their school life. If you are expecting a massive harem series, where the MC gets all the heroines. You are out of luck, for as far as I can see. My main issues in the beginning of the series is the 5 male characters act like pathetic closet pervs that never spoke to a girl in their entire prepubescent lives. From the first episode a few guys try at pitiful attempts to talk to the girls. Conveniently, Kiyoshi is the first one to actually break the ice with one of the girls, which works out for him as he manages to get a date. However all that goes to ruin later when the guys decide to peep on the girls changing. This was were the highlight of the episode takes place as we see the comedic skits of Kiyoshi sneaking into the changing room to the other guys getting caught and put on display for a public execution(except not really). As punishment for the guys peeping tom incident they are forced to live in the school’s prison, otherwise they face expulsion. After watching the 4 episodes, I can say this is where the show thrives in their comedic…

Of course all the guys had fun teasing him and occasionally making fun of him for not being as fast as the rest of us. Also, his nephews were a lot nicer since he was right there with us which was good. I think he realized just how tough of a job we have. I also think we can look forward to more days like these later on. August 22, 1932 - I woke up this morning in quite a frenzy. “Why…

surface. He looked at me, trying to give me that boost of confidence for the end of this game. “Alright guys listen up. Ryan has guarded their best player all game, it’s time we catch him off guard,” he said. I answered with a head nod, because my mouth was paper. A 6 foot 4 inch guy shouldn 't have any trouble guarding a guy 4 inches shorter than you, right? WRONG. I have been playing basketball since 5, and I’ve learned size is not always an advantage. If a guard is quicker than you, and has a…

it comes down to it, though, I would have to pick the one that I find the most hilarious: The Other Guys. This movie could be watched countless times and still be funny. The Other Guys really represents the type of humor that I like being as it is more of a goofy, immature type of comedy. One reason why I find this movie so amusing is because of the actors that were cast to carry out the story line. The two main characters are played by my favorite actors, Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell. On…

He isn’t—the concept of this mirror phase is simply more applicable in other stages of life, rather than just between 6-18 months. He actually touches on this broadness, though not in the same direct manner, saying that “[i]t suffices to understand the mirror stage […] as an identification, in the full sense analysis gives to the term” (Lacan 76). He himself is defining this stage of development as a manner of identification. Mirriam-Webster defines that word as a “psychological orientation of…

depression is characteristic of the ‘self as other’, as s/he proceeds along the tightrope to a childlike truth negating immutability. This does not function the same as an ‘self for other’ uncertainty, one which causes her/him to falter along the tightrope moving away from an adult reality remonstrating certainty. The distancing of forces happening within a will turned in against itself, crystallizes a part of the ‘self as the other’, along the intersubjective axes of ‘self-talk’: ‘who I am,’…

else.’ with this quote constantly running through my mind, I personally understood what Madrid meant when he said that the Other”results in us feeling excluded, or even disdained and scorned.” As a child I always felt as if I played the role of the other. I was different in ways such as loving to learn, and being an overly outgoing person with different points of view, and as a result; I found that other children were quick to single me out of their groups. Very few ever accepted…
