She always has the, “I can do it” attitude and the “I want to do it” attitude. One day on the bus, she was discussing her project that she had to complete for a class. When she was talking about it, she kept saying that it was probably going to be hard to complete. After she told me how hard it was going to be to she kept telling me that she could do it no matter how hard it was. I do not ever remember a time when she said that something was too hard, and sure enough, she always did what she said she was going to do. She is always trying to take as much control of things that she can because it gives her the opportunity to do her best. She knows that if she has more control and more of a say then she will also have more self-determination on top of her high self-esteem. I remember a time when she had to work in a group project and she got stuck with a couple kids that never do their homework and they never pay attention in class. She knew right then and there that she had to take control and set role for the other students. She also put it upon her to meet up with the other students before it was due to make sure that they completed what they were supposed to complete. Since she “took over” the project, they got a pretty good grade on it. In that case, if she would have just sat back, they probably would of did worse than what they actually
