Nevertheless the consequences of these polices called “Dominant-language medium submersion” are the less effective programs for minority language students. They are damaging learners and societies because they discourage students from maintaining their mother tongues and that creates barriers which difficult communication and relations between parents and children. In addition, violates children’s right to an appropriate education and development. Moreover, as it is known, knowledge has to be constructed from children experience which means we can’t avoid the use of their mother tongue which is that children know and it is part of their cultural background. These policies are damaging education and promoting school failure with harmful psychological, economic, social, cognitive, linguistic and political consequences for citizens. Although, there are some educational models in which children have a period of adaptation and they are taught in their mother tongue during a year or two before start with a medium dominant language, those programs are not the solution because they help children to self-development and self-concept at the beginning of the process but then they avoid their identity which are their culture and
