The U.S. president Kennedy put a naval blockade on Cuba and ordered the Soviet Union to remove nuclear missiles from Cuba. The Soviet Union cooperated after an intimidating stand off and removed the Nuclear Missiles from Cuba. However, they made President Kennedy pledge not to invade Cuba. |
