What happens when we rotate the altitude select knob? |
Preselects altitude in altitude window. If PROF's engaged, sets FMS limits for climb or descent. |

Airplane will climb or descend directly to selected altitude (ATS will go to climb thrust or idle descent as required). It's basically Level Change. |
